Dierks Bentley
Appeared in these episodes:
Dierks Bentley may have come from a non-musical family, but that hasn’t stopped him from becoming one of contemporary C&W’s brightest stars. The Arizona native absorbed the sounds of Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings on record, and that was enough to inspire him to head for Nashville at 19. Once there, he worked at TNN researching classic country, doing demos and gigs at night. He released his first album in 2003, and hit the top ten with its follow-up, Modern Day Drifter. Now, with an appearance at the ACL Music Festival, hits like “Can’t Live It Down” and “Lot of Leavin’ Left to Do” and an acclaimed new album Long Trip Alone under his belt, Bentley hits studio 6A for his debut on Austin City Limits.
